Temporary Clinic Operation Update
***Please read thoroughly***
Washington State’s Governor Inslee has now moved our state into the “Safe Start Plan” starting May 29th, 2020. We have updated our clinic scheduling to adapt to the current state orders during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please take a moment to review the below information to stay informed of our temporary changes in policies and procedures. This will be in effect for the foreseeable future, and we will continue to inform our patients as we adapt during this time.
In accordance with the Washington State Mandate, starting July 8th, 2020, we are requiring all patients to wear a face mask/covering in our office.
- Our front desk hours will continue to be 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday. We will be closed for lunch between 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm.
- Some of our physicians are in the office earlier or later on specific days, so be sure to check our online scheduling or call our office if you’re looking for times outside of our front desk hours.
Patients we are seeing in person for essential services are listed below:
- Wellness Visits
- Wellness visits for all patients.
- All appointments will be scheduled in the morning
- Immunization Only Visits
- Immunization only visits are available on Wednesdays with Dr. Erinn O’Brien for people up to 18 years of age. These are short 10-minute appointments for vaccine only. If you have additional concerns for your child, please schedule a telemedicine appointment.
- Essential Blood Draws
- Essential blood draws will be scheduled from 8:00AM to 10:00AM Monday-Friday.
- Acute Illness
- Only if a doctor determines need to be seen in person through a prior telemedicine visit
- All appointments will be scheduled in the afternoon
- Acutely ill patients that must be seen in office will be brought into our office through the employee entrance at the rear of our building.
- Contraception Management
- Initial consultation through telemedicine.
- Once that appointment is completed we will schedule a short appointment for any necessary in person procedure.
- Lactation Consultation
- In person or through telemedicine as appropriate with Dayna Hall, our Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
We are asking that until further notice, all our patients are to call when they arrive at our office and wait in their car for their doctor to come get them. The doctor will then take the temperature of the patient and one accompanying individual, supply masks if appropriate, and bring them directly into the office. We are requesting that no more than one adult accompany their child to appointment and that only the patient be brought into the office, to minimize risk for both our patients and our physicians. We are trying to abide by physical distancing guidelines and not have people waiting in the reception area. Doctors will be wearing a mask and any other protective gear necessary to all visits.
We have implemented extra sanitizing procedures throughout our office. Common surfaces are disinfected daily upon opening of the clinic, at our lunch break, and at the end of our day. Doctor’s offices are disinfected after each patient. Once a week, our office is deep cleaned, thoroughly disinfected, vacuumed, and washed.
For our patients that do not have to be physically seen in office, we have listed below services that can be provided through Telemedicine appointments:
- New Patient with health concerns
- Review lab work
- Follow up on health concerns/treatment plan
- Evaluation of acute illness (coughs, colds, allergies, skin conditions, etc.)
- If necessary, patients may be asked to come in after the telemedicine visit for further physical exam.
- Ways to keep yourself and your family healthy, especially during this time
- Mental health concerns
- Health concerns or questions that you would have addressed at a wellness visit
