During Business Hours

If you or your child is sick and you’d like help treating the illness, the best way is to come into our office for a visit. Established patients of Fern Valley Natural Health are encouraged to contact our office as soon as possible and we can typically get them in to see a physician that same day. You can do this by either calling our office, scheduling through our website’s Contact Us page, or logging into our Patient Portal and requesting an Acute appointment with one of our providers. Typically, it’s fastest to call our office directly before 10:00 AM.

After Hours Concerns/Paging

Fern Valley Natural Health offers a 24 hours a day pager number to our clients, which is monitored by one of our physicians. We want to be available for urgent, after hours concerns for our patients and their parents. Please remember that if you are experiencing a medical emergency CALL 911.

When you have an urgent situation AFTER HOURS, established patients can call our pager number at 206-989-0049. Our physicians will personally return your call and help you deal with an acute illness either overnight or over the weekend. The physician can also help you determine if a trip to the emergency room or urgent care is appropriate.

Please note there is a fee for contacting the physician on call and the resulting phone consultation. This fee is $50, and is not covered by insurance.

We do not accept after-hours pages for prescription refills or to discuss scheduling an appointment. We encourage anyone with those concerns to request an appointment or send a message through our Patient Portal.

Preconception Counseling and Fertility Management

Whether you're just beginning to think about starting your family or you've been trying for months or even years, we can help. A thorough health evaluation and suggestions including nutrition, lifestyle changes as well as specific supplements are important for reproductive health. We offer preconception counseling and preparation workups and plans, as well as fertility workups and management.

Allergy Testing

Fern Valley Natural Health is excited to be able to offer several option for our patients to test for allergies, both environmental allergies and food allergies.

SLIT Treatments

Immunotherapy is a natural allergy remedy. It's a process that desensitizes your body to allergens by introducing them to your body, via serum, in small doses. As treatment progresses, the amount of  these allergens (also known as antigens) in the serum increases so your  immune system learns to tolerate and then ignore them, making you a much  happier person during allergy season! 

There are two types of immunotherapy: shots and sublingual (under the tongue) drops. Both are effective.

You only need to visit your healthcare provider every 12 weeks for a refill and a quick follow-up. By your first follow-up, you’ll likely notice a marked improvement. Within a few months you should realize a significant reduction in the need for allergy medications. And, in four years, if you are like most patients you will experience complete remission of our environmental allergies.
